Do you know where you will spend eternity?  Are you aware that God loves you and does not want you to perish?   He sent is only son into the world to die for us.  "But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."  He wants you to have a relationship with Him.

Experience the Lord!

Some would say, "but I kinda believe in him" or "I am not a bad person and I go to church when I can."  This is not about behavior, "kinda believing," or playing church on Sundays.  "Being good" cannot save us.  Ephesians 2:8-9 says "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith - and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast."

This is about a relationship with our Lord.  It's about experiencing God.   Inside the heart of every person there is a longing, a void, an empty place...a place nothing in this world can fill...except a genuine experience with God.

My name is James.  I help Mark and his wife Mary with this ministry.  I guess you could say that I am a webservant.   I was this person who "walked the fence."  I went to church, prayed, and wholeheartedly believed in Jesus.  I also had a side of me that my church brothers and sisters did not see - my drinking, smoking, and just being hateful.  About 10 years ago my life was chaos.  It was then that I just cried out to the Lord for help.  That was a defining moment in my life.  To some it happens quickly, to others over a period of time.   I realized that it was time to get off the fence.  I realized that I could not serve two masters.  James 4:4 says "You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God?  Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God."

I have such an overwhelming sense of peace in my life.  I know that no matter what comes my way, the Lord is there with me.   Jesus can do the same for you!  There are many people who attend our church that have turned from drug addictions, drinking, suicidal thoughts, cutting, and on and on.  Churches across the nation are full of people with these same testimonies.  It does not matter what you have done or how bad you think you have been - Jesus is waiting for you.  "Here I am!  I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."  Revelation 3:20.  He is knocking on the door of your heart.  He will meet with you wherever you are in your life.  The Lord promises salvation, health, and prosperity.  Satan only comes to seek, kill, and destroy.  If you would like Jesus to be the Lord of your life, simply read the prayer shown below.

Jesus loves you!

"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and need your forgiveness.
I believe that you died for my sins.  I want to turn from my sins.
I now invite you to come into my heart and life.
I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior.
In Jesus' name, amen."

So now what?  To begin with, you are now a born-again child of God.  There are some simple things that you must do in order to grow as a follower of Jesus Christ.  Like any living thing, if we are not growing, then we are dying.  Satan would love nothing more than to fill your head with doubt about your salvation and the choice you just made.

One simple thing for growth is prayer.  Prayer is essential to knowing God and growing spiritually.  It is simply talking to God.   Prayer helps us to seek forgiveness, overcome worry, and grow in spirtual knowledge and maturity.

Reading the bible is a good way of feeding yourself daily.  Studying the bible is necessary for spiritual growth.  Get a bible that is easy to read and understand.   The New International Version is a good bible to start with.  Start by reading the New Testament - the book of John is a good place to begin.

Attending church is an essential part of Christian growth as it provides fellowship with other believers.  The church should provide bible-based teachings, along with genuine and spirit-filled worship.
